Buzz Off has been able to distribute over 6700 nets in IDP and remote communities inside Burma. These nets have been paid for by the grant moneys received earlier this year and have been gratefully received.

Buzz Off has been able to distribute over 6700 nets in IDP and remote communities inside Burma. These nets have been paid for by the grant moneys received earlier this year and have been gratefully received. Our distribution programs have also seen more than 4000 Malaria RDT tests and thousands of anitmalarial meds also make it into these communities where Malaria has been wreaking havoc for many year.

Malaria in this region is particularly deadly as the parasites have become resistant to many of the medications usually used to treat the disease. Only the more expensive medications seem to work.

In 2010 we hoping to be able to even more try and reduce the impact of Malaria in this region.
