Buzz Off is set to distribute 3000 high quality mosquito nets to remote communities inside Burma.

This push to get nets into remote areas comes as malaria cases soar in numbers as the wet season progresses and mosquito numbers increase.

Buzz Off and other agencies on the ground will see that the nets are distributed to remote areas where there is little access to health care services.

The distribution of these nets will be completed by the end of July.

Buzz Off also made an emergency grant for antimalarials and mosquito nets for 4000 Burmese villagers who were displaced by fighting close to the Thai Burmese border.
