Buzz Off has run a second set of malaria seminars in Yangon. 50 trainees attended the seminars bring the total number of Malaria workers trained by Buzz Off in 2009 to 97.

The semiinars were in a new 4 day format which gives more time for processing and student interaction.

Attendees came from several remote areas where services and malaria resources are low. Invitations have been extended for Buzz Off to run seminars in Rakhine and Shan states.

As well as learning about Malaria attendees developed posters, learned to use RDT kits and were trained to use Haemoglobin test kits.

Buzz Off is planning to run more seminars in Myanmar in 2010.
